Servoca reviewed the Technical Support Unit of a police force in England. The role, structure and service provided by the unit were examined, considering established national practice and the specific needs of the force.
Using experts Servoca provided former police officers, highly skilled in the area of technical support, to conduct the review.
The review involved:
- Consultation with key managers, practitioners and users to ensure the most effective structure was designed for the unit
- Adhering to legislation, guidelines and good practice to ensure the service delivered by the unit met the needs of the force
The final report recommended ways to develop the unit whilst ensuring compliance to governing legislation and procedures.
